Jaclyn and Alan were married at St. Mary’s Church in Carlyle, Illinois. Their reception was hosted at Jaclyn’s parents’ house, also in Carlyle. We started capturing their day when they arrived at their Mariner’s Village cabins after the girls finished up their hair and makeup at Attitudes Salon. After getting ready, we snapped a few portraits close to the cabins before heading over to Jaclyn’s parents’ house for their first look and a few portraits before heading over to St. Mary’s for their wedding ceremony. It was a beautiful setting at St. Mary’s, with soft light streaming through the numerous windows. We had a few laughs when Jaclyn had to remind the minister officiating that he forgot to do the ring blessing part of the ceremony.

Their wedding reception guests were treated to a delicious meal from their choice of Seoul Taco and/or Zia’s on the Hill, who had their food trucks taking orders all evening. Did I mention that it was a (very) hot day! We’ll, you wouldn’t be able to tell by the energy on the dance floor. DJ, Dave Emming had the dance floor packed the entire time we were there. Was such a pleasure to capture their day. Below are a few of our favorites from their day…
